Gay Columbus Ohio and Real Estate
Where do you want to live in Columbus if you are Gay?
The obvious choices are the Arena District, the Short North, German Village, Victorian Village, Italian Village and Clintonville. But what if you do not want to live near downtown and still have access to shopping and nightlife?
If condos are your thing, they are all over town! I personally and professionally would suggest you check out town homes at Easton. They also have single standing homes if you do not want the condo thing. Easton offers great shopping and dining! It is close to the airport and a short drive to downtown or short north for the evening life.
Another great community to check out is Bexley. Again, a short distance to downtown yet it has the suburban flair for the quieter life. Also, you will not be completely alone in the burbs…seems many of the gay population is opting for lawns, garages and quiet neighborhoods.
Clintonville is an older community..but a goody! Very gay friendly and close to everything in our city! The houses hold their values and charm, the neighborhoods are eclectic and accepting.
Upper Arlington is another great choice for those seeking the suburbs. It is close to campus, downtown and has great city services!
A surprising suburb to make the list is Hilliard…lots of lesbians in suburbia Hilliard. Don’t really know why..maybe because everyone else is out there. Big lesbian population. My guess is that is close to UPS…
Care to chime in? Need gay or gay friendly representation while buying or selling in the Columubs area?
Drop me a line or call…I will take you and your partner around and find you the best fit for your needs or sell your home for the best value!
